TIAB - The Immigrant Artist Biennial is a multi-disciplinary group exhibition of critically engaged contemporary art made by immigrant artists, created by Founding Director, Katya Grokhovsky. At the time of unrest, discrimination and exclusion, TIAB seeks to facilitate urgent and innovative dialogue between artists and audiences on a global stage. To be presented in New York City every two years, TIAB sets out to form a worldwide community through exhibition of ambitious visual multimedia projects, performances and series of public events, with an aim to facilitate a diverse and experimental discourse. The project is currently in research and development stages. The project is Fiscally Sponsored by NYFA (New York Foundation for The Arts).
